Applied to ships in fractured fields of contrasting\u003cbr\u003egeometry, it was designed to confuse the eye, to disrupt proportion, direction and speed.\u003cbr\u003eThe B\/1 Dazzle translates that idea to the wrist.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIts Grade 5 titanium case and integrated bracelet are covered in an irregular composition of\u003cbr\u003eintersecting lines and planes. Alternating frosted and satin-brushed finishes catch the light\u003cbr\u003edifferently, causing the pattern to shift as the wrist moves. Form appears to break apart and\u003cbr\u003ereassemble; edges become uncertain and the watch’s familiar silhouette begins to disappear.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is built into the surfaces of the watch, moving continuously across the case and bracelet\u003cbr\u003eand transforming the entire object into a single sculptural composition. No two viewpoints\u003cbr\u003eare quite the same.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAt the centre is Toledano \u0026amp; Chan’s signature asymmetrical sapphire crystal. Cut as a\u003cbr\u003edramatic architectural volume rather than a conventional transparent cover, it refracts and\u003cbr\u003edistorts the dial beneath it.
